You will be amazed by the rock formations of these caves and the mystical atmosphere inside them.
The Sacred Mantle Cave is located in the village of Huayna Capac, 25 km from Tingo Maria, in the Castillo Grande district.
Deep within this mysterious cave, crystal-clear waters flow, forming underground pools, mantles, and waterfalls (their depth is unknown, but it's mentioned in the best German caving books). Inside, about 300 meters away, there's a large room with whimsical formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and about 600 meters deeper in the cave, there's the 'El Manto Sagrado' waterfall. To reach the underground pool, you'll need to climb several underground slides.
This cave is perfect for lovers of extreme adventure and caving. When you find yourself deep inside the cave, you'll feel like you're traveling to the center of the earth.
