- Ticket to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris
One of Paris’ most iconic landmarks, the Arc de Triomphe invites us to admire one of the most impressive views of the city. From the top of its platform, we have a privileged perspective of the Place de la Étoile, the famous Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower and the great urban axis that connects La Défense to the Louvre.
Commissioned by Napoleon I in 1806 to celebrate the victories of his armies, the monument was inaugurated in 1836 by Louis Philippe, then King of the French, and dedicated to the soldiers of the Revolution and the Empire. At the foot of the arch lies the "Unknown Soldier", buried in 1921 in homage to all unidentified combatants. Every day at 6:30 pm, the flame of remembrance is rekindled, keeping alive the memory of those who fought for France.
At the top of the Arc de Triomphe, visitors have an incomparable panorama of the most beautiful avenue in the world, the Champs-Elysées — a unique experience in the heart of the French capital.

Opening hours are generally from 10am to 10:30pm (April to September) and until 10pm the rest of the year. Last entry is allowed up to 45 minutes before closing.
Access to the monument is via an underground passage, avoiding the heavy flow of cars in Place Charles de Gaulle.
There are 284 steps to the top in total, but there is still a staircase after the elevator that only leads to the central part. Therefore, most visitors climb the 284 steps on foot to reach the terrace.
