- Ticket to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris

One of Paris's most iconic landmarks, the Arc de Triomphe invites us to admire one of the city's most impressive views. From its platform, we have a privileged perspective of Place de la Étoile, the famous Champs-Élysées, the Eiffel Tower, and the major urban axis connecting La Défense to the Louvre.
Commissioned by Napoleon I in 1806 to celebrate the victories of his armies, the monument was inaugurated in 1836 by Louis Philippe, then King of the French, and dedicated to the soldiers of the Revolution and the Empire. At the foot of the arch lies the "Unknown Soldier," buried in 1921 in honor of all unidentified combatants. Every day at 6:30 p.m., the flame of remembrance is rekindled, keeping alive the memory of those who fought for France.
At the top of the Arc de Triomphe, visitors enjoy an unparalleled panorama of the world's most beautiful avenue, the Champs-Elysées—a unique experience in the heart of the French capital.

Opening hours are generally from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM (April to September) and until 10:00 PM the rest of the year. Last entry is allowed up to 45 minutes before closing.
Access to the monument is via an underground passage, avoiding the heavy traffic in Place Charles de Gaulle.
There are 284 steps to the top in total, but there's still a staircase after the elevator that only leads to the central section. Therefore, most visitors climb the 284 steps on foot to reach the terrace.
