The exhibitions are the brainchild of Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who invented the plastination process at the University of Heidelberg in 1977. The original exhibitions have been imitated by countless imitators, but remain unmatched in terms of quality and innovation. The current theme in Amsterdam is called The Happiness Project and focuses on the effects of happiness on our well-being. This exhibition features over 200 real anatomical models, which will give you a broader insight into how our mood can affect our health.

At BODY WORLDS Amsterdam, you can now take the InBody health check. By knowing your body composition, you can see what your body is made of, including fat, protein, minerals, and water.
