Dolmabahçe Palace, a recent residence for Ottoman sultans built by two Ottoman architects, Karabet and Nikogos Balyan, spans 110,000 m² and served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire. Famous for its large collection of European antiques, furniture, and 4.5-ton chandelier, the palace has 285 rooms and 46 halls. The Bosphorus Bridge offers a unique opportunity to cross from one continent (Europe) to another (Asia) in two minutes. Çamlica Hill, or Yeditepe, offers panoramic views of Istanbul and the Bosphorus from one of the city's highest and most attractive locations.
