Itinerary for the Full-Day Tour of the German Castles of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof from Munich

Hidden in secluded mountains, German King Ludwig II built two spectacular castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Both were the King of Bavaria's real dreams.

Your day trip will begin with our departure from Munich, first visiting Linderhof Castle, a French Rococo-style building known for its fantastic grotto and Moorish Pavilion. Next, make a short stop for shopping and some photos in the charming Oberammergau. We'll then arrive at Neuschwanstein Castle around 1:00 pm. Enjoy about four hours to visit the castle and have lunch (not included).
