Central hotels along the route and from Av. Bustillo to km 8*
Heading south, we followed Route 40, skirting Lakes Gutiérrez and Mascardi, until the point where the road forks, allowing us to take the detour that crosses the bridge over the famous Manso River. We continued along a winding road, observing practically the entire length of the upper Manso River valley, with its serpentine course and greenish waters.
We continued to Pampa Linda, the first stop on our route. The climb continued until we reached the final viewpoint: the imposing Ventisquero Negro, a glacier that descends from Cerro Tronador and stands out for its dark color, a result of the mountain sediments it has incorporated along its course.
