Itinerary: After breakfast, departure to the port and boarding a motorboat for the Rio Preguiças Circuit (APA – Environmental Protection Area). Along the way, you can enjoy a beautiful landscape of typical mangrove vegetation and some animals and birds from the region. We stop at the community of Vassouras, the region of the small sheets with its dunes and lagoons and also where there is an area of preserved mangroves that are home to a family of capuchin monkeys that interact with visitors. We continue to Mandacaru and visit the community and the Preguiças Lighthouse to enjoy a beautiful view of the Park.
Afterwards, we continue to Caburé beach, a peninsula that divides the sea and the Preguiças river. At the end of the afternoon, departure in a 4x4 vehicle to the port of Atins and boarding a motor boat along the Preguiças River to the vicinity of the mouth of the river, at Ponta da Brasília, where the Preguiças River meets the ocean. On site you can appreciate a field of dunes of Pequenos Lençóis and the mangroves that design the place. Depending on the tide level, we wait on the dunes or board the boat, to contemplate the flocks of Guará birds with their red plumages, landing in their dormitory. The sunset can also be seen at the end of the tour.
