The most important cultural movement of the first half of the 20th century, the Modern Art Week represented a true renewal of language, as art then moved from the avant-garde to modernism. On this tour, passengers will experience some of that cultural shifting atmosphere that the leading artists of the period experienced. We will visit the most important places for the movement, such as the House of the writer Mário de Andrade, where today a cultural workshop operates, Parque Mario Covas, where René Thiollier's house used to be, where the planning meetings for the week of art and the Teatro Municipal de São Paulo, the venue for the event.
Itinerary: Mário Covas Park (Avenida Paulista, the native forest of the place was listed and is original from the time) / Casa de Mário de Andrade (Barra Funda) / Garçonnière of Oswald de Andrade (Rua Líbero Badaró, 89) / Conservatório Dramático Musical ( Praça das Artes) / Municipal Theater of São Paulo (Center) / Consolação Cemetery (Place of the tomb of Oswald de Andrade, Mário de Andrade and Tarsila do Amaral)
