Discover the best of Córdoba on a fascinating tour that combines history, architecture, and culture. We begin in the heart of the city, the Historic Center, home to the imposing Cathedral, the colonial Cabildo, and the lively Plaza San Martín. We continue to the Civic Center to admire the Palace of Justice, City Hall, and the iconic La Cañada stream, flanked by squares and monuments. We passed the majestic Teatro Libertador and entered the vibrant Nueva Córdoba neighborhood, where we visited the spectacular Capuchin Church. Next, we visited the city's green lung, Sarmiento Park, near the Government House and the University City, the epicenter of Córdoba's student life. We continue toward the Alberdi neighborhood, the cradle of popular history, and from there we follow Colón Avenue toward the modern Olympic Stadium, the Fair Complex, and the Botanical Gardens. Crossing the Suquía River, the elegant Cerro de las Rosas awaits us, with its tree-lined streets, the "Urban Woman" monument, and panoramic views from the Parque Nativo lookout. To top it all off, we explored Córdoba's Jesuit Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We visited the historic Church of the Society of Jesus, the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, the National University of Córdoba Historical Museum (formerly the Rector's Office), and the traditional Colegio de Monserrat, institutions that marked the beginning of higher education in South America.
