Check in at our office and join us for the first part of the tour, a one-hour walking tour through the streets of Madrid's historic city center. Discover iconic landmarks you can't miss! Stroll through Plaza de la Villa, the famous Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and Plaza de Oriente. Then, board one of our air-conditioned buses for a city tour.
We leave Plaza de Oriente and head to the magnificent Puerta de Toledo. Did you know its construction dates back to the Napoleonic era? See Madrid's oldest bridge and stroll alongside the Manzanares River, from where you'll have excellent views of the Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral. Pass Calle Mayor, Puerta del Sol, and the Las Cortes neighborhood on your way to Paseo del Prado. Admire the architecture of Old Madrid as you reach the Las Letras neighborhood.
Pass by the Cibeles Fountain, where Real Madrid fans celebrate the team's victories. Don't miss Puerta de Alcalá, the most famous of the city's five ancient gates. The last points of interest on the guided tour are the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, via Paseo de la Castellana, and Plaza Colon.
But no trip to Madrid would be complete without a visit to the Prado Museum. Immerse yourself in its impressive collection as you stroll through its majestic rooms at your own pace. Discover some of history's most influential paintings, created by geniuses such as El Bosco, El Greco, Velázquez, Goya, and Rubens. Discover the purpose of the original building and why it was transformed into one of the world's most important art galleries. The current exhibition contains over 1,000 paintings from four different centuries. Notes: * Check-in is scheduled 15 minutes before the tour starts. Failure to show up at check-in may result in forfeiture of the tour.
