We will spend the day exploring the main tourist attractions of Rio de Janeiro, starting with a visit to Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain. Next, we will go for an exterior view of the Maracanã Stadium, stopping at the Sambadrome, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Selarón Steps. After lunch at a churrascaria (Brazilian steakhouse), we will conclude the tour with a cable car ride up Sugarloaf Mountain.
We will pick you up from your hotel in Rio and take you to the Christ the Redeemer statue – one of the New Seven Wonders of the World – atop Corcovado Mountain. The journey will be short and scenic, passing through the Tijuca Forest before encountering incredible views of the entire city. Back at sea level, we will pass by the legendary Maracanã Stadium (exterior visit) and continue to the Sambadrome, the stage for Rio's vibrant Carnival. We will visit the imposing Metropolitan Cathedral, a modern structure with influences from Mayan pyramids. We will admire the colorful tiles of the world-famous Selarón Steps, one of Rio de Janeiro's most emblematic tourist attractions.
Next, we'll go to a restaurant to enjoy a delicious Brazilian barbecue (all-you-can-eat). After lunch, we'll take a trip to Sugarloaf Mountain, located in the Urca neighborhood. We'll go up by cable car twice, first arriving at Morro da Urca and then at the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, at a height of 395 meters. We'll conclude the tour with a breathtaking panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro.
