Paz, founder of the newspaper La Prensa and Argentine ambassador to Paris from 1885 to 1893, it is the largest private residence in the country and one of the few residences in Buenos Aires to hold the title of Palace, a distinction given due to the design and layout of its interior rooms. It was designed as a family home, with four floors, 140 rooms, and a total covered area of 12,000 m2.
