River Museum
Founded on November 9, 2009, the River Museum houses the most precious treasures from the history of Club Atlético River Plate. In its 120 years, the Club has experienced vivid and glorious moments, both sportingly and institutionally. Both on the football and corporate level, the Museum reflects each of these stages in different ways.
Without a doubt, River Plate is Argentina's biggest club, and its recognition is worldwide. These idols, objects, and places are located in the heart of the Monumental Stadium.
The River Museum covers over 3,500 square meters. Its rooms reflect distinct themed areas that divide the route, referenced by emblematic dates in River Plate's history. With unprecedented technological development in the country, the museum features a 360-degree cinema where a film expressing the sentiments of River Plate fans is projected.
Passing through the Tiempo Tunnel, tourists will be able to learn chronologically about River Plate's key figures, the equipment that was a significant part of the club's history, the greatest victories, the most valuable trophies, all related to national and international history.
Furthermore, those returning to this space will reminisce about the club's origins, its first steps toward professionalism, its standout matches, and the glory that has always accompanied River Plate. These sections feature audiovisual performances that evoke the context of each River Plate era.
The River Museum aims to be a repository of the club's history and heritage, accessible to the general public interested in River Plate and football itself as an expression of popular culture.
