In the first part, you will hear some of the most wonderful overtures, arias and duets from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's operas: "The Marriage of Figaro", "Die Zauberflöte" and "Don Giovanni", to name a few.
The most popular operetta arias, waltzes and polkas by the "Walzerkoenig" Johann Strauss, from "Die Fledermaus" and "Der Zigeunerbaron" to "Donauwalzer" and the famous "Radetzkymarsch", make up the second part.
The orchestra is accompanied by two opera singers, a soprano and a baritone, and two ballerinas in authentic costumes.
The Schonbrunn Orangery offers the most suitable setting for the Schonbrunn Palace Concerts. During Habsburg times, the Orangery was a venue for musical and artistic festivities.
