Corcovado and Sugarloaf Mountain, on the same day and at the best time for you. Yes, it's possible. Gather all your friends and family (up to 15 people) and enjoy a great opportunity to see two of Rio de Janeiro's greatest landmarks in the same day, on an intimate tour. You'll also pass through Santa Teresa, with its unique architecture, and visit the famous Selarón Steps. The van will pick you up and drop you off at most hotels in São Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema, and Copacabana, leaving you with more free time to explore the city's many other wonders.
After hotel pickup, the van continues to Cosme Velho station, at the bottom of Corcovado Mountain. From there, you'll travel to the summit, through the dense Tijuca rainforest, to admire the 38-meter-tall (125-foot) statue of Christ the Redeemer. Your guide has 40 to 60 minutes to show you the wonders of Rio. From the summit, enjoy spectacular views of Rio and the surrounding landscape. After descending and returning by van, the tour continues through a unique and charming neighborhood.
On the way to Sugarloaf Mountain, you'll discover Santa Teresa, a neighborhood with a completely different vibe from the rest of Rio. Here, Old Rio comes to life. Santa Teresa is a neighborhood where charm and tradition meet. But it also boasts street art, such as the incredible Selarón Steps. The beautiful ceramic steps by Chilean artist Jorge Selarón are unique. You'll have about 15 minutes to admire them before continuing on to visit Sugarloaf Mountain.
You'll travel all the way to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain in two stages by cable car. The first will take you to Urca Hill, a 215-meter-high peak that offers beautiful views of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, and Corcovado Mountain. From there, a second cable car will take you to the summit. At 395 meters high, you'll enjoy wonderful views of Copacabana Beach, the Santa Cruz Fortress, and several beaches in Niterói. Enjoy this magnificent scenery for about 45 minutes before rejoining the van that will take you back to your hotel.
