Let's explore Congonhas, located 70 km from Belo Horizonte in the Alto Paraopeba region. Congonhas attracts tourists from all over Brazil and the world who come to admire the great work of the Baroque artist Antônio Francisco Lisboa, better known as Aleijadinho. At the Bom Jesus de Matozinhos Sanctuary, the master Aleijadinho sculpted the famous life-size images of twelve prophets in soapstone.
Another attraction in Congonhas is the six chapels that make up the Garden of the Steps in front of the Basilica, representing the Stations of the Cross with beautiful cedar wood images also made by Aleijadinho. Due to its richness and grandeur, this ensemble was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Departures are on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:00 AM, with the time to be confirmed the day before, as it may vary depending on the location of each hotel.

Bus traffic within historic cities is permanently prohibited. For this reason, we will park our buses as close as possible to the area permitted by local authorities.
Tours within the historic cities will be conducted on foot. If any passenger requires private transportation, the cost of this service will be their responsibility.
Infant car seats are mandatory for babies up to one year old, as are child car seats for children aged one to four years, and booster seats for children aged four to seven and a half years.
