Estancia Gaúcha El Ombú de Areco This tour offers the opportunity to explore San Antonio de Areco and Estancia El Ombú, both recreationally and culturally. Areco is one of the last towns in Argentina that zealously guards its customs and traditions, preserving the gaucho figure as an emblem of its identity. You'll also visit an authentic hacienda in the humid Pampas, El Ombú de Areco, to enjoy an authentic Argentine picnic. At El Ombú, you can spend the day immersed in nature, customs, and typical Argentine foods. In San Antonio de Areco, we'll take a panoramic tour, admiring the unbeveled corners, a tradition of our interior. We'll visit iconic buildings such as the Parish of San Antonio de Padua and the Bessonart market, among others. You'll also visit the Draghi goldsmith's workshop (optional) and the Navarro cordage factory, both internationally renowned. We continue to the farm, located a 20-minute walk away, in the middle of the Pampas plains. After a brief introduction to the property and a pleasant horseback ride (or carriage ride) to explore the 350-hectare property, you'll be invited to enjoy a delicious barbecue served, weather permitting, in the shade of centuries-old trees or in the farm's hall. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to admire a demonstration of gaucho skill with a horse and its gentleness, as well as traditional Argentine music and dance.
