Upon arrival, take a moto-taxi for a fascinating ride to the trailhead. Then, hike a 1.5km (about 1 hour each way) trail of easy difficulty. Along the way, savor the picturesque stops that offer respite and stunning glimpses of Rio's diverse beauty.
From the peak, enjoy panoramic views: the iconic Ipanema, São Conrado beach and the sprawling Rocinha favela.

The adventure begins at the entrance to the Vidigal favela. Dois Irmãos Hill sits at the top of the Vidigal community, which we cross before reaching the trailhead. We take a 10-minute motorcycle taxi ride to drop us off at the key point to begin the trail, saving energy for the hike itself. This simple trail, with little difficulty, but steep in some sections, takes an average of 50 minutes to an hour to complete.
Follow your local guide to the top of the trail that leads to the higher of the two hills for a spectacular view of Rio with incredible viewpoints of landscapes that encompass the vastness of the valleys, lakes, mountains and the ocean, ideal spots for photos and contemplation.
