The Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo is home to thousands of aquatic animals, including over 140 species. More than 400 sharks and rays live in our 10-million-liter tank, including sand tiger sharks, giant groupers, and many other marine species. A series of carefully designed experiences will allow our visitors to come face-to-face with our aquatic residents for memorable moments with friends and family.

We've carefully designed a series of animal encounters and diving experiences to bring our visitors face-to-face with our aquatic residents. DIVING EXPERIENCES, AN EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME Have you ever wondered what it's like to breathe underwater at the Dubai Aquarium? Want to try scuba diving but aren't sure if you're ready for a full certification course? The PADI Discover Scuba Diver program is for you. With Al Boom Diving, you can explore the wonder that is the Dubai Aquarium. Experience the thrill of Discover Scuba Diving at the spectacular Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo. Starting at 1:00 PM, 3:00 PM, or 5:00 PM. After a quick theory lesson, your dive instructor will teach you basic safety guidelines and skills in the confines of a cage before you venture into the 10-million-gallon aquarium.

Prepare yourself for:

- Review the diving equipment you use for diving and how easy it is to move underwater with your equipment.

- Discover what it's like to breathe underwater at the Dubai Aquarium.

- Learn the main skills you will use during each dive.

- Enjoy an up-close encounter with thousands of marine animals in the 10 million gallon aquarium.

- Learn how to become a certified diver through the PADI Open Water Diver course.
