Activity description
The tour begins between 9 and 10 a.m., when our team picks up adventurers from their hotels, ready for a day full of wonders. We remind each visitor of the importance of keeping their documents up to date to facilitate immigration procedures.
We'll clear Argentine customs and, for non-Argentine visitors, Brazilian customs. Once completed, we'll take the picturesque Rodovia Das Cataratas, which takes us to the stunning Iguaçu National Park in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.
Upon arrival at the park, the tour begins along a unique circuit of walkways in front of the falls, offering breathtaking panoramic views. This 1,200-meter trail, full of ups and downs, invites us to discover nature's secrets, allowing us to admire the falls in all their splendor, from both the Brazilian and Argentine sides. To continue this magical experience, we took the bus to Parque das Aves.
Just meters from the majestic Iguaçu Falls in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, lies the incredible Parque das Aves, a unique sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of Atlantic Forest birds. Here, you can enjoy a magical, up-close experience with over 1,500 birds of 150 different species in the largest aviary in all of Latin America.
Explore its 16.5 hectares while immersing yourself in a lush and captivating environment. The tour begins by crossing a picturesque bridge over an artificial lake, home to fish and over 100 flamingos, where you can also spot vibrant parakeets, inviting you to explore the first themed area, the El Bosque Nursery, a representation of Iguaçu National Park.
As you progress, turkeys and pheasants stroll around you and guide you to the Pantanal Nursery, which recreates the world's largest floodplain. Here you can observe scarlet ibises, herons, toucans, and other impressive species in their natural habitat.
Later, at the Reptile Den, you'll discover fascinating creatures like pythons, iguanas, alligators, and even an anaconda, watching you from behind thick glass. And if you thought you'd seen it all, you'll arrive at the Harpia Refuge, home to the world's most powerful, majestic, and endangered bird of prey.
The tour continues among groups of vultures and rheas until reaching the enchanting Crane Paradise, the vibrant Yellow Macaw Paradise and the famous Macaw Aviary, home to several species of macaws and parrots in a spectacle of color and life.
For your convenience, all trails are signposted and adapted for visitors with wheelchairs and strollers. Additionally, restrooms and restrooms are available throughout the park, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
