This exciting journey will take you to Dubrovnik and its fortified Old Town, undoubtedly one of the most visited and photographed destinations in Europe. You'll begin your tour on a comfortable, air-conditioned bus, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning views of the Mediterranean landscape. As previously arranged with the driver, you can stop to stretch your legs and take fantastic photos.
Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, one of the most important tourist destinations in the Mediterranean, you'll meet your local guide and begin a 1.5-hour walking tour through the narrow streets of Dubrovnik's Old Town. Explore this fantastic UNESCO World Heritage site and learn all about its history and monuments. Dubrovnik is famous for its incredible Renaissance and Baroque architecture, red-brick roofs, and two-kilometer-long walls that have successfully withstood attacks from various enemies over the centuries. Explore the Old Town's central street, Stradun, the Franciscan Monastery (with one of the oldest pharmacies in the world), the Renaissance Rector's Palace, the city walls, Lovrjenac Fortress, and many picturesque squares and churches.
After your walking tour with a professional local guide, you'll have plenty of time to explore Dubrovnik on your own. Make the most of your free time and stop at one of the local restaurants to enjoy delicious traditional food. It's a good idea to take the cable car to the top of Mount Srd and enjoy the stunning views of Dubrovnik and its surroundings. You can also head to the local beach for a quick swim, buy tickets to the City Walls, and admire the city from a completely different perspective. Since you have approximately four hours of free time, plan your activities before your trip, as it's impossible to do everything listed above.
After a perfectly spent day in Dubrovnik, you'll reboard the bus and begin your journey back northwest, following the Adriatic coast. We'll pass through the villages of Oračac, Trsteno, Salona, and the Elafiti Islands until we reach Ston, where you'll have the opportunity to taste our famous fresh oysters. A perfect break before returning to Split. Notes: All participants are required to provide their passport name, number, expiration date, and country at the time of booking. A valid passport is required on the day of travel and must be presented to office staff.
