Discover the beauty of Peru's coastal treasures with our adventure to the Ballestas Islands and Paracas Reserve. Explore pristine beaches, see diverse marine life, and immerse yourself in breathtaking scenery—an unforgettable journey awaits!
ITINERARY
We will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the new Paracas tourist pier.
We'll board the glider to begin our nearly two-hour excursion to the Ballestas Islands. These beautiful islands are home to thousands of migratory birds, which share their habitat with colonies of restless sea lions. We'll also spot a diverse array of marine fauna, including Humboldt penguins.
We'll return to the pier, where you'll have free time to stroll around the bay, take photos, buy crafts, or have breakfast.
Next, we'll take a trip to the Paracas National Reserve, the largest nature sanctuary on the Peruvian coast. First, we'll visit the RNP interpretation center. Next, we'll head to the natural rock formation known as LA CATEDRAL, due to its whimsical shape and spectacular panoramic views.
We continue with our panoramic tour of the Network. We'll take a short walk to the Flamingo Lookout and the Fusilera Zone, where we'll observe migratory birds, marine fossils, sharks, and much more.
Finally, we will return to the hotel at approximately 3:00 pm. Notes: Sometimes the sea is too rough to visit the Ballestas Islands by boat. If the weather forecast predicts a storm, we may cancel the Ballestas Islands boat tour for safety reasons. In this case, a partial refund will be issued.
For hotels far from Chaco, it will be necessary to add S/40 soles for pick-up or drop-off at the hotel (price for up to 3 people) and for the bus station S/30 soles for pick-up or drop-off (price for up to 3 people).
