Meet in the lobby of your hotel in the El Pablo, Laureles, or Estadio neighborhoods (see note*1). From the moment we depart Medellín, you'll be immersed in spectacular landscapes of vibrant colors and a rich cultural heritage. On the way, we'll visit the Republica del Alto del Chocho farm for a short break, where you can purchase local foods such as arepas, cheeses, and traditional drinks like aguapanela. After a drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, we'll pass through the new town of Peñol, a key starting point for learning about the past, present, and future of this beautiful region. We'll enjoy a boat ride on the waters of the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir to admire the mountains and the luxurious homes that surround it. Later, we'll visit the majestic Piedra del Peñol, from whose top you'll enjoy panoramic views of the reservoir. Here, we'll give you plenty of time to climb to the top of the Piedra del Peñol (Peñol Rock), a climb of over 600 steps (entrance not included). Next, we'll visit the town of Guatapé, famous for its Zócalos (paintings on the walls of its houses). There, we'll take a walking tour of its main squares and have free time to shop in the souvenir shops. A traditional lunch is included. In the afternoon, we'll return to Medellín and be dropped off at your hotel in the El Poblado, Laureles, or Estadio areas (see Note*1). Notes: Note *1: Pickup and drop-off are only available at hotels located in the El Poblado, Laureles, or Estadio neighborhoods, between 6:30 AM and 8:30 AM. Pickup is not available for accommodations located in other areas or neighborhoods. In these cases, passengers should go to one of the following meeting points: San José Church in El Poblado Park at 7:20 AM, or Estadio Metro Station, specifically at Dos Estrellas Bakery, at 7:00 AM. The shuttle will arrive at these points with a 10- to 45-minute delay, due to the city's boarding and traffic dynamics.
