Piazza Tasso is a central square in Sorrento, southern Italy. The square is named after the poet Torquato Tasso. The main square houses the Baroque church of Carmine, with its interior painting by Onofrio Avellino. The square houses the statue of St. Antonino Abbate, the city's patron saint.
- Vallone dei Mulini (known in English as Valley of the Mills) is a historic valley in Sorrento, Italy. The stone flour mills were built as early as the 13th century. Their name derives from their original function: grinding grain. The valley originated from the release of water onto a tuff plain about 37,000 years ago, following the eruption of the Phlegraean Fields. It remained in operation until the early 10th century. In 1866, Piazza Tasso was established, which isolated the mill and the surrounding sea. The building was closed and abandoned in the 1940s.
- The Cloister of San Francesco in Sorrento is an oasis of tranquility just steps from the bustling central square of the historic town of Sant'Antonino. The cloister unites a religious complex of a 7th-century monastery and a late medieval church, both dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi, and showcases various architectural styles, from pre-Roman to Arabic and medieval.
- Villa Comunale is a stunning property nestled in the gardens of the Franciscan friars. The villa boasts a beautiful park of palm trees, holm oaks, oaks, and centuries-old pines overlooking the sea. You can take breathtaking photos of the Gulf, dominated by Mount Vesuvius.
Marina Grande is Sorrento's fishing village, famous for its excellent seafood restaurants. It also has several small volcanic beaches with their characteristic black sand. In the past, it was the only access point to the city for visitors from the sea.
