Positano is a cliffside village on the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy. It's a popular tourist destination, with a pebble beach and narrow, steep streets lined with boutiques and cafes. Its Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta boasts a majolica-tiled dome and a 13th-century Byzantine icon of the Virgin Mary.
The Church of Santa Maria Assunta, with its unique majolica dome, dominates Positano beach. Step inside to admire its architecture, the decorated arch, and the Byzantine "Madonna."
With its glamorous, celebrity-studded beaches, breathtaking seascapes, and boutique-lined historic center, it's easy to see why Positano is the most sought-after destination on the Amalfi Coast.
Amalfi, a former maritime republic, is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its magnificent cathedral, which dominates the square with its blend of Byzantine art, sample a sweet Santa Rosa, or simply relax on the beach.
St. Andrew's Cathedral rises magnificently above a grand staircase leading to the main square. Its finely decorated façade evokes Byzantine art and Nordic architecture.
During free time, you can come in and the guide will be happy to help you with tickets.
Ravello is the hidden gem of the Amalfi Coast. Over the years, it has welcomed actors, singers, poets, and politicians. Admire Ravello's small square and historic center, its narrow streets, quaint shops, and ceramics factories with your guide. In your free time, don't miss the opportunity to visit Villa Rufolo, a building in Ravello's historic center that hosted the famous composer Richard Wagner, inspiring him to compose his famous "Parsifal." From its terrace overlooking the sea, you can take stunning photos in a wonderful setting. Your guide can assist you with admission and ticket purchases. Return to Naples in the afternoon.
