During this interactive program, you'll spend time with our rescued elephants, gain in-depth knowledge of their sophisticated means of communication, and learn about their natural habitat and their important role as keystone species in our ecosystem. The program includes round-trip transportation, a light breakfast, a vegetarian lunch and dinner, and cold drinks and refreshments throughout the day.
The morning begins with light refreshments and a video presentation on the history and plight of Asian elephants. You'll then have the opportunity to feed one of our rescued elephants for breakfast. Next, our tour guide will teach you about the intricate behavior and communication patterns of elephants before exploring our 30-acre sanctuary to observe our elephants roaming, playing, and bathing freely. The morning concludes with a delicious Thai vegetarian lunch.
In the afternoon, you'll explore the Asian elephants' natural habitat and learn more about their important role as a keystone species in our ecosystem, while observing them roaming our jungle. Those who join us in the new hydrotherapy pool will learn about the importance of water in treating elderly or injured elephants. You'll also see some elephants enjoying themselves in the water.
Finally, you'll help prepare supplementary food for the elephants and feed them dinner, before enjoying a vegetarian meal to end the day.
