- Incredible Moconá Falls: a natural gem in Misiones
Don't miss this hidden wonder at Iguazu Falls: Los Saltos de Moconá. They're one of the most recognizable waterfalls in Misiones, stretching approximately 3,000 meters and, depending on the river's height, can reach up to 12 meters.
After checking into your accommodations in Puerto Iguazú, you'll explore the typical landscapes of Misiones until you reach Coastal Route 2, which runs along the Uruguay River. The route is extensive, covering approximately 300 km.
Upon arrival, we can observe the local flora and fauna, leaving you in silence to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. The Uruguay River allows us to see the fault in its course, but not the waterfall. On the other side, we can see the coast of Brazil.
You will have time to explore it and climb aboard the boats if you wish (not included, optional and must be paid directly at the destination) and admire this canyon of more than 3 km over the Uruguay River with constant waterfalls of 2 to 7 meters high.
Some hotels in the city are not included in our pickup itinerary. If this is the case, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which we can pick you up for the tour. You should wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
Observing the Moconá waterfalls will depend on the height of the Uruguay River, as on some occasions the river level rises and does not allow us to contemplate this natural spectacle in all its splendor.
Entrance fee to Moconá Park: AR$ 10,000, paid at the entrance.
