The origin of the high temperatures of its waters lies in a geothermal gradient that arises from the hot rocks, which makes reaching it and appreciating this natural phenomenon an unforgettable experience.
ITINERARY
Pick up at a coordination point with prior notice and start of the route along the Pucallpa / Campo Verde / Honoria road.
HONORIA DISTRICT, belonging to the province of Puerto Inca - Huanuco, the entrance to the access road is in the Campo Verde district, located 34 km from the CFB.
We will begin our river adventure, sailing along the Pachitea River for 30 minutes on a local boat.
Start of the walk (40 min) to reach our first point on the river SHANAY TIMPISHKA.
ECOALVERGE IMPICCHATORI, a space located at the mouth of the boiling river, where the water temperature of 40°C is perfect for a thermo-medicinal bath. We'll also visit a space where the temperature is lower, to enjoy the water.
Arrival at Mayantuyacu, a Naturist Ecological Center. Here, the water is around 96°C, and its master healer, Ashaninka Juan Flores, demonstrated to the world the validity of traditional Amazonian medicine. From his Mayantuyacu Center, in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, the National Geographic team collected important photographic documents and chronicles of experiences with master plants and valuable ethnomedicinal resources. The Huishtin Sanctuary is a center for shamanic healing and self-discovery located on the Pachitea River in the high Amazon rainforest of Peru. Here, at the Sanctuary, one can begin a journey toward total mind, body health, and personal awakening. Nestled among the ancient medicinal trees of the Amazon rainforest.
