Escape the busy streets of San Francisco on a half-day tour of Muir Woods National Park and charming Sausalito, often hailed as California's most beautiful city.
Embark on a journey across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and through the steep coastal mountains of Marin County. Marvel at stunning views of San Francisco Bay and the valleys that were once home to the Coastal Miwok. Our starting destination is Muir Woods National Monument, where ancient groves of giant sequoias (Sequoia sempervirens) rise along Redwood Creek. Admission to Muir Woods is included on all our tours, and you'll have 90 minutes to explore the park at your own pace.
Next, visit the charming seaside town of Sausalito, a Mediterranean-style gem adorned with charming shops, art galleries, and waterfront restaurants. If an hour in Sausalito isn't enough, you can extend your visit and return to San Francisco by ferry. The ferry fare is not included unless you choose this option when booking. The ferry ride offers stunning views of Alcatraz Island and the San Francisco skyline, takes approximately 20 minutes, and docks at Pier 41 in the heart of Fisherman's Wharf.
If you prefer to return by bus, simply relax in our comfortable buses, and we'll transport you back to San Francisco to conclude this memorable day. We'll drop you off at the same pick-up locations: 478 Post St. (Union Square) or 2805 Leavenworth (Fisherman's Wharf Area).
