After being picked up at your hotel, you'll arrive at Marina da Glória, where the boat departs around 9:30 a.m. From the bay, you'll have the opportunity to see the Museum of Tomorrow, built by the famous Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. Continuing on, passing under the Rio-Niterói bridge, you can see the Santa Teresa neighborhood, Santos Dumont Airport, and the three forts that were built to protect the city: Fort São João, Fort das Lajes, and Fort Santa Cruz. Across the bridge, on the other side of the bridge, lies the city of Niterói, offering one of the best views of Rio de Janeiro. Take the time to take mental snapshots of beautiful Rio and real photos to share with friends and family.
During our schooner tour, if you want to let off steam, just head to the bar onboard, where you can buy caipirinhas and other alcoholic beverages, as well as soft drinks and water. We also offer seasonal tropical fruits like watermelon and pineapple for free!
After returning, you will pass through Aterro do Flamengo, from where you can see the beautiful Sugarloaf Mountain in all its glory, before arriving for a traditional 'All You Can Eat' barbecue lunch (if option selected, otherwise you will be dropped off at your hotel).
Brazilian steakhouses offer a wide variety of side dishes and alternative options, and if you opt for a vegetarian option, you'll leave satisfied. After this delicious lunch, you'll be dropped off at your hotel. Notes: Please note that some hotels in the city are not included in our transportation route. If your hotel is not included in our itinerary, we will contact you to indicate the closest hotel to which you should be transferred at the time of the service. You should wait for your guide in the lobby of the indicated hotel.
