Discover Barcelona's most important sights in one morning, as well as the city's history. Enjoy a guided tour of the Born and Gothic Quarters while discovering its most important monuments. Board an air-conditioned bus and take a panoramic tour of the city accompanied by your guide. At one of the stops, marvel at the views from the Montjuic cable car. Complement your experience with a paella workshop at the end of the tour.
We will meet at the Julià Travel office, located at Estació del Nord, at 9:00 am.
In the first part of the tour, we'll enjoy a walking tour of the Born and the Gothic Quarter. We'll have the opportunity to stroll down one of Barcelona's most important streets and visit sites such as the Arc de Triomf, Barcelona Cathedral, and the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. We'll be amazed by the multiplicity of details on the facades of the buildings we encounter during the tour.
We'll wander the narrow streets of the old town and discover its hidden secrets. At the end of the walking tour, we'll board an air-conditioned bus for a panoramic tour of Barcelona.
We'll make several stops at Montjuic Hill, which served as the Olympic venue during the 1992 Olympics. The first stop will give us access to the Montjuic cable car, from which we'll have stunning views of Barcelona. We'll pass by Montjuic Castle, from where we can journey back in time and discover part of the city's history. We'll make a final stop on Montjuic, this time at the MNAC viewpoint, from which we'll have a different perspective of Barcelona.
It's time to head back to the office, where we'll pass by Paseo de Gracia, one of the most important streets in Barcelona, and where two of Antoni Gaudí's most important works are located: La Pedrera and Casa Batlló.
Complement your visit with a paella workshop at the end of the tour. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to cook the most iconic dish of Spanish cuisine. Together with a professional chef, you'll prepare your own paella, which you can enjoy with a glass of wine.
