Imagine walking through a medieval city suspended in time, surrounded by Venetian walls and alleyways where history unfolds around every corner. We'll take a funicular up to Forte San Vigilio, from where breathtaking views of the city and the surrounding valleys unfold. Then, we'll descend along cobblestone paths to the elegant Piazza Vecchia, the beating heart of the Upper City.
We will continue to Piazza Duomo, where you will find the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Colleoni Chapel, the Civic Tower, and the Cathedral of Saint Alexander. We will then proceed through the winding streets to the ancient Lavatoio di Via Lupo, and then walk along the Venetian Walls—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—to the imposing Porta San Giacomo.
