Visit the famous Majorelle Gardens. This wonderful place boasts gardens, fountains, pools, bamboo forests, cacti, and a fabulous private museum collection. More than 15 unique species of North African birds can be seen here. Brilliant cobalt-blue buildings decorate the garden, designed by French artist Louis Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent. An expression of timeless Moroccan life, the walls dominate Marrakech with their characteristic red stone walls and immense gates. Stretching over 6 miles, the city walls are among Marrakech's main attractions. Well-preserved, ranging in height from 25 to 32 feet, they feature ten entrance gates, the best known being Bab Khemis. Several gates have also served as models for other Moroccan cities. Notes: Hotel pickup is included for hotels located in central Marrakech.
