We'll depart Belo Horizonte at 7:00 a.m. for a day filled with nature, beauty, and history. At 9:00 a.m., we'll arrive at the entrance to the Zareia Private Natural Reserve (RPPN), which provides access to the impressive Cachoeira Grande (entrance included).
After a short, easy hike of about 15 minutes, we'll reach the upper part of the waterfall—perfect for those who want to try kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding (optional). At the bottom, the pools formed during the dry season invite you for a refreshing dip. We'll have free time to enjoy the scenery, capture beautiful images, rest, and enjoy our included trail snack.
Around 11:30 am, we will return to the transport, and at 12:00 pm, we will enjoy a typical lunch included in the charming district of Serra do Cipó.
In the afternoon, we'll continue our journey to Lapinha Cave, arriving at 2 p.m. The guided tour reveals impressive rock formations and includes a stop at the small local museum (admission included), connecting nature and archaeology in one place.
We will end our adventure at 3:20 pm returning to Belo Horizonte, arriving around 4:30 pm.
