Notes:
Do I need to specify a travel date? Yes, we'll ask you to select the date you want to board the bus. If you're traveling with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used on consecutive days, and the date selected at the time of booking must be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a travel time to guarantee your seat. If your ticket includes extras, you may also need to reserve additional dates and times for all elements of your ticket after completing your purchase. See your booking confirmation email for instructions.
How do I redeem my ticket? Redeem Big Bus vouchers with a staff member at any Big Bus hop-on hop-off bus stop.
What is the child policy? Children under 5 travel free. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Are the buses wheelchair-accessible? Our buses are wheelchair-accessible, with ramps allowing access to all vehicles in the fleet. There is space for one wheelchair per bus (unless the second passenger can transfer to a fixed seat, in which case a second wheelchair can be accommodated in a fixed position). We have some restrictions due to weight and stability, and we advise against transporting mobility scooters. We may also be unable to accommodate larger wheelchairs for the same reason. The maximum weight allowed on the ramp is 300 kg, which is the weight of the wheelchair when occupied. The wheelchair also cannot exceed the width of the designated wheelchair area. To avoid any disappointment, we will be happy to confirm in advance if the wheelchair can be accommodated on board and ask that you send us an email including a photograph of the wheelchair, as well as an indication of the width and weight of the wheelchair. Feel free to contact us for more information.
What can I see and visit? The Red Route showcases Berlin's highlights, including the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, and more. The Blue Route showcases more of Berlin's trendy east side neighborhoods, including the famous East Side Gallery.
There are 20 stops in total, where you can hop on and off as many times as you like. Each stop was selected for its convenient access to a specific attraction or point of interest. And, of course, you can stay on board for the entire tour and let us take you on a scenic drive.
Day Tour Departure Times: The first tour of the day departs at 9:50 AM from Stop 1 at Alexanderplatz 3-5, and buses run every 20-30 minutes until 4:50 PM, depending on the time of year. Other popular starting points include Stop 4 at the Brandenburg Gate and Stop 15 at Checkpoint Charlie. However, you can exchange your ticket at any of the 16+ Big Bus stops. See your voucher for details.
Buses are not equipped with restrooms or elevators
