With the help of a certified guide, discover Conimbriga, a fascinating, large, and well-preserved Roman city. Magnificent Roman mosaics, the stunning Casa de Cantaber and Casa das Fontes, sections of the city wall, baths, and forum, and the National Museum with numerous archaeological finds are some of the main attractions you'll have the opportunity to visit. Our visit will have two stages: the archaeological site and the National Museum. Conimbriga is currently in the process of preparing its UNESCO candidacy and is a national monument. It is a 20- to 25-minute drive from Coimbra. It can also be a perfect stopover for those traveling by car between Porto and Lisbon. To get to Conimbriga, we recommend using a car, taxi, or Uber. From Coimbra, there is a daily bus, but it is not recommended. The city has a café, restaurant, and restrooms, should you need them. Conimbriga is practically flat.
