Visit the Eyüp Sultan Mosque and Tomb, one of the holiest sites in the world, second only to Mecca and Jerusalem, and visited by thousands every day. Eyüp-El-Ensari preceded and heralded the arrival of the Prophet Muhammad and died in Istanbul during the Arab siege of the city in the 7th century. We'll take a cable car to Café Pierre Loti, nestled amid lush vegetation on a hilltop dotted with beautiful trees, offering a stunning panorama of the Golden Horn. The café is named after Pierre Loti, a French author and poet who loved Istanbul and often wrote while sitting at the café, enjoying the view.
We'll visit Miniaturk, a miniature exhibition park showcasing the main attractions of Istanbul, Anatolia, and the former Ottoman territories. Countless models throughout the park, such as a railway worker, Muslims in the mosque courtyard, Jews praying in the synagogue, and a flower seller, portray society's lifestyle through the centuries.
