- Lake Ohrid, North Macedonia and Albania Tour
During this day trip we will visit the old town of Ohrid.
Located on the shores of the lake of the same name, it is considered the largest city around the lake.
The city was known by its ancient name of Lychnidos, "city of light". According to local legend, Ohrid used to have 365 churches, one for each day of the year. Because of this, it was nicknamed the "Jerusalem of the Balkans".
The city is rich in picturesque houses and monuments that offer a very welcoming atmosphere.
The Monastery of Saint Naum and a small park surrounding it have a lot to offer and explore.
Once we return to Albania, Tushemisht village and Drilon Park will be the last natural sites before the transfer back.
