TourJericoacoara Beach and Paraíso Lagoon Tour

This tour will last all day, leaving the hotels in the morning between 4:00 am and 5:00 am, leaving Lagoa do Paraíso to return at around 3:30 pm. Jericoacoara is a National Park located 300 km west of Fortaleza. It brings together a set of natural beauties from different biomes, creating a unique place. Jeri is an unusual place, compared to the modern world of big cities, with busy times, traffic jams and queues. The streets are covered in sand and the beaches stretch for kilometers without visual interference. Everything has a slower, more relaxed feel.

Until about 20 years ago, Jeri was just a simple fishing village isolated from the world, visited only by adventurous travelers. There were no roads, electricity, telephone, television, newspapers, and little money was used. Trade was done through the exchange of products, such as fish for rice, and so on. But all this does not mean that you will have to deprive yourself of comfort and luxury.

The city became famous for being one of the most beautiful and longest beaches in the world, surrounded by dunes and freshwater lagoons, bringing people from all over the world to its shores. In 1984, a federal law declared Jericoacoara an environmental protection area and, in 2002, the area achieved maximum environmental protection status, being named a National Park.

After 01 hour leaving Fortaleza, we will stop for a small breakfast (not included). Then, we will continue towards Jijoca, a city where we will switch to typical 4x4 vehicles to cross the Dunes National Park (included). Upon arriving in Jericoacoara, we will have approximately 20 minutes in the village and then continue our tour of the Jericoacoara region in the same 4x4 vehicles.

Initially, we will pass by Pedra Furada (symbol of Jericoacoara), remembering that it still requires a walk of approximately 20 minutes, as vehicles do not fully reach the monument. Then, continuing the tour, we will pass by the famous Tree of Preguiça (photo stop), Praia do Preá, Lagoa Azul, Buraco Azul (ticket not included) and arrive at Lagoa do Paraíso, where we will remain at the support point with all the infrastructure, with a place for lunch (not included) and bathing (hammocks available in the lagoon).

At around 3:30 pm, departure from Lagoa do Paraíso towards the city of Fortaleza. Expected arrival in Fortaleza between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
