TourJericoacoara Beach and Paradise Lagoon Tour

This full-day tour departs from hotels in the morning between 3:40 and 4:15 a.m., departing from Lagoa do Paraíso and returning around 3:30 p.m. Jericoacoara is a National Park located 300 km west of Fortaleza. It brings together a collection of natural beauty from different biomes, creating a unique place. Jeri is an unusual place compared to the modern world of big cities, with its rush hours, traffic jams, and lines. The streets are covered in sand, and the beaches stretch for miles without visual disturbances. Everything has a slower, more relaxed feel.

Until about 20 years ago, Jeri was just a simple fishing village isolated from the world, visited only by adventurous travelers. There were no roads, electricity, telephones, television, or newspapers, and money was rarely used. Trade was conducted through bartering, such as fish for rice, and so on. But all this doesn't mean you have to deprive yourself of comfort and luxury.

The city became famous for having one of the most beautiful and longest beaches in the world, surrounded by dunes and freshwater lagoons, drawing people from all over the world to its shores. In 1984, a federal law declared Jericoacoara an environmentally protected area, and in 2002, the area achieved maximum environmental protection status, being designated a National Park.

After leaving Fortaleza, we'll stop for breakfast (not included). Then, we'll continue toward Jijoca, where we'll transfer to traditional 4x4 vehicles for the Dunes National Park (included). Upon arrival in Jericoacoara, we'll spend approximately 20 minutes in the village before continuing our tour of the Jericoacoara region in the same 4x4 vehicles.

First, we'll pass Pedra Furada (the symbol of Jericoacoara), but it's still a 20-minute walk, as vehicles don't reach the monument completely. Then, continuing our tour, we'll pass the famous Preguiça Tree (photo stop), Preá Beach, Lagoa Azul, Buraco Azul (entrance fee not included), and arrive at Lagoa do Paraíso, where we'll stay at a fully equipped support point, including a place for lunch (not included) and swimming (hammocks are available in the lagoon).
