Potsdam, the Imperial City

A journey into the past of Potsdam, one of the most beautiful and imposing cities in all of Germany.

Frederick II, known as Frederick the Great, was a great lover of arts and culture and made great efforts to beautify the city with palaces and gardens.

Potsdam is also a city rich in history: we'll cross the bridge where CIA and KGB spies were exchanged during the Cold War, and pass the palace where Stalin met with Churchill and Truman to divide Germany. Explore the Dutch Quarter and visit Sanssouci and other palaces that served as residences of the Hohenzollern dynasty.

A pleasant outing to enjoy a day outdoors and discover a little more about German culture, history, and tradition.
