Take a private hike to Pedra do Telégrafo combined with some beach time at one of the city's most beautiful beaches. Get picked up at your hotel and head to Rio's west side. The route passes Rio's most famous beaches and winding oceanfront roads while our guide discusses the stunning landscapes, ideal spots for photo stops and contemplation. Once there, hike 1.5km in 50 minutes each way, at a medium difficulty level with slightly steep sections and uneven terrain, to the summit with several viewpoints. From the summit, Pedra do Telégrafo stands 354m above sea level, offering stunning views of the vast valleys, lakes, and mountains that lie beside the ocean. After some time to walk around and take those famous photos at the edge of the cliff, we headed back down. We finished with a fantastic seafood lunch (not included) and spent some time by the sea eating snacks and drinking delicious caipirinhas.
