In the late afternoon, we will depart in a 4x4 vehicle to the port of Atins, where we will board a speedboat along the Preguiças River towards its mouth, at Ponta da Brasília — the point where the river meets the ocean.
In this privileged location, it will be possible to observe a field of dunes of Pequenos Lençóis and the mangroves that shape the landscape.
Depending on the tide level, we will wait on the dunes or on board the boat to watch the spectacle of flocks of scarlet ibises — birds with intense red plumage — landing in their natural roosting sites.
The tour ends with the sunset, an unforgettable scene amidst the exuberant nature of Lençóis Maranhenses.
