An energetic day that promises unforgettable moments in search of one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Peru.
A hidden paradise of turquoise waters cascading from the top of the hills that make up the Cordillera Azul, they form the perfect setting for enjoying nature in its purest form. With its two-tiered falls and several wonderful pools at its feet, the long-awaited refreshing dip will be imminent after an hour-long hike that will be well worth it.
ITINERARY
Pick up at the hotel, departure by land to the Curimaná district.
Once in the district, we'll have time for breakfast and then head to the port where the ferry is docked. Depending on the weather, we'll swap the van for a truck.
We will cross the Aguaytia River on the raft with the vehicle on top for five minutes, then continue the journey for thirty minutes until we reach a mestizo village.
In the village of Bello Horizonte, we'll begin our aquatic adventure. First, we'll sail down the Aguaytia River for 35 minutes.
The Aguaytia River is a Peruvian body of water that flows through the department of Ucayali. It originates in the Yuracyacu River, which flows from the Cordillera Azul between the departments of San Martín and Loreto.
Then we will enter to sail on another river called Pindayo, here the navigation lasts 20 minutes, we will see different species of birds, in the summer you can observe the variation of colors between these two rivers.
After sailing, we'll reach a point on the riverbank to begin our 40-minute hike through the jungle. During the walk, we'll discover several species of flora and, we hope, fauna as well.
We will see a particular tree known as Boa Caspi, which we will encounter during the hike to the waterfall.
We will arrive at Regalia waterfall, its name comes precisely from the gift that nature gave us by creating this beautiful waterfall in the Ucayalina jungle, Regalia means gift.
Here we will enjoy this unique and refreshing natural space.
