Activity description
We invite you to tour the city of Santiago, where we will visit the main tourist attractions, such as: Palácio de la Moneda, Barrio Republica, Blanco Encalada, Cumming, Palacio Cousiño, La Plaza de Armas, La Catedral, Mercado Central, Estación Mapocho, Bario Bellavista, Cerro Santa Lucia.
Itinerary:
09:00 am / 14:00 pm: Start of hotel pick-up.
Vehicles begin picking up participants from their hotels at 9:00 AM (and also at 2:00 PM for those arriving during other shifts). Departure will be punctual, so it's important to be ready at the hotel reception at the agreed time.
Stop and visit to Cerro Santa Lucia
A short stop to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of Santiago from Cerro Santa Lucia. Here, visitors can hike its trails, learn about the history of this iconic site, and appreciate its beautiful vegetation and architecture.
Parade Square
The tour continues in the heart of the city: Plaza de Armas, surrounded by important historic buildings such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and the National Historical Museum. It's the ideal place to learn about Santiago's colonial past and its early foundations.
Visit and tour of the Historic District
During this tour, we'll explore Santiago's Historic District, a sector brimming with traditional architecture and streets steeped in history. Here, guides will share anecdotes about the city's early days, its cultural influences, and the personalities who shaped its development.
La Moneda Palace
We continue to the seat of the Chilean government, the Palacio de la Moneda, an important symbol of Chile's political history. In addition to its impressive neoclassical façade, visitors will learn about its role in historic moments, such as the 1973 coup d'état.
Bellavista Neighborhood
One of the city's most vibrant areas, Barrio Bellavista is famous for its nightlife, bohemian art, and colorful architecture. Here you can enjoy art galleries, cafes, and bars, as well as views of Cerro San Cristobal, which is accessible weather permitting.
Los Reyes Park
This large park, located next to the Mapocho River, is ideal for an outdoor break. Visitors can enjoy recreational activities, stroll along its paths, or simply relax while admiring the natural landscape surrounding the city.

Finally, the tour ends in one of Santiago's most modern neighborhoods. Here you can see examples of contemporary architecture and the city's transformation in recent years, as well as enjoy some of the local shops and restaurants.
