TourSwimming with whale sharks in Cancun

On this tour, we will have the experience of swimming with the largest fish in the world, the Whale Shark.

During the season, whale sharks come to the sea surrounding Contoy and Holbox islands to mate and feed. They are very docile and friendly, and can reach up to 15 meters in length.

We will leave from your hotel reception between 6:00 AM and 7:20 AM, depending on the hotel where you are staying.

If your hotel is in downtown Cancun, Playa del Carmen, or Tulum, one of our local agents will inform you of the nearest meeting time and location at least one day in advance.

We will soon be transferred to the marina where we will receive information and instructions about the tour and take a boat trip to the reefs.

On the tour we will have the opportunity to observe them and swim with them.

Furthermore, we will also have the opportunity to spot dolphins, rays, sea turtles, birds, and other animals from the Yucatán coast due to the wide variety of nutrients present in these waters.

We'll soon head to the coast of Playa Norte, where we'll have a snack on the boat.

In the afternoon we will have the opportunity to snorkel in Isla Mujeres before returning to Cancun.

NOTES

This great adventure departs daily from Cancun during whale shark season (between June 1st and September 10th).

A marine conservation fee of USD 15 per person will be charged at check-in for the activity.

This experience takes place every day during this period, EXCEPT on the 30th of each month.
