Experience the true art of tapas on this 4-hour experience, where you'll discover Spanish cuisine from bar to bar, visiting different neighborhoods.
The tour will begin at San Miguel Square, from where we'll head to La Latina, Cava Baja, and Cuchilleros streets, the most famous tapas spots. There, we'll sample typical tapas featuring mushrooms or Padrón peppers—why are some spicy and others not? Accompanied by a beer or cider.
Near the first stop, you'll visit a quaint and unique boutique, where you can savor the essence of Spain by sampling a carefully selected selection of Iberian ham and sausages, perfectly paired with quality wines. We'll stroll through Plaza Mayor and the Barrio de las Letras, where famous poets and artists spent their prime years.
Near Huertas Street, our stop will be at an old but renovated bar (or "Casa de Comidas") to enjoy beef cheeks, known as "Carrilleras," with mashed potatoes and a good wine, preferably red. The tour continues past Plaza de Santa Ana and the Spanish Theater, with its numerous terraces, and you'll feel like you're part of it. Our final stop will be a traditional Garlic Shrimp served in a terracotta or earthenware dish.
