The King's Gallery at Buckingham Palace is a permanent space dedicated to traveling exhibitions of items from the Royal Collection, the extensive collection of art and treasures held in trust by The King for the Nation. Built forty years ago on the west front of Buckingham Palace from the bomb-damaged ruins of the former private chapel, the Gallery reopened on May 21, 2002, and is now open to the public daily.

The Edwardians: Age of Elegance - April 11–November 23, 2025
Learn about the lives and tastes of two of Britain's most elegant royal couples: King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra, and King George V and Queen Mary, from their family lives and personal collections to their glittering social circles and spectacular royal events.
This is the Royal Collection Trust's first exhibition to explore the Edwardian era and will bring together more than 300 items, almost half on display for the first time, including fashion, jewelry, paintings, photographs, books, sculptures and ceramics.
See works by the most renowned contemporary artists of the period, including Carl Fabergé, Frederic Leighton, Edward Burne-Jones, Laurits Tuxen, John Singer Sargent, Olive Edis, Philip de László, William Morris, Oscar Wilde, and Edward Elgar.

During busy periods and bank holidays, there may be longer than normal waits for admission. Tickets purchased through Golden Tours cannot be converted to a one-year pass. A typical visit lasts between 1 and 1.5 hours. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
