The tour starts at 8:30 am and goes directly to the Royal Air Force Museum in Duxford, which requires an entrance fee.
This was one of the largest RAF complexes in the world during World War II. In addition to all the aircraft that participated in the battles during the war, both on the German and Allied sides, we will be able to see what the operations room looked like in 1940.
You will learn about the methods used by England to defend its skies during the war, as well as the lives and occupations of the men and women who contributed daily to the Allied success.
A magnificent museum that also has a section where we can explore modern military aircraft, as well as commercial aircraft like the Concorde.
Tickets cost around £30 for adults and £14.50 for children over 5 years old. It's free for children under 5.
The tour begins at 8:30 am, when our driver will pick you up from your hotel and transport you directly to the Duxford Air Force Museum. The drive along the M11 to Duxford takes approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Upon arrival in Duxford, the driver will drop off the passengers and park the vehicle. The driver will remain with the vehicle. A self-guided tour brochure, highlighting the most fascinating and significant information, will be provided by the driver. A local guide can be provided for an additional fee.
Before departing for Duxford at 1:30 PM, travelers will have three and a half hours to explore the museum. From Duxford to Cambridge city center, it's about a 30-minute drive. Arrival in Cambridge at 2:00 PM. The vehicle will be parked in Cambridge city center by the driver. A self-guided tour brochure, highlighting the most fascinating and significant locations, will be provided by the driver. After three hours of free time to explore Cambridge, passengers should meet the driver at 5:00 PM to return to London. Return to the hotel around 6:30 PM.
