Here in Spain, there's a culture of going out in the afternoon or evening and strolling through bars "with tapas." People leave their homes and go from bar to bar, ordering drinks, which are accompanied by tapas (small portions chosen by the bar owner to accompany the drink). Then, they go to another bar and order more drinks. They wander the city, from bar to bar, drinking and sampling the options. That's why many don't even sit down, leaning against the bar (known here as a barra) or at the high tables, as they'll soon be heading to another bar. This is a completely private and exclusive tour, so your guide will contact you in advance to arrange some details. But rest assured, the tapas and classic restaurants preferred by Madrinhèles will be on the itinerary. As they say here, you'll leave this experience "sucking your fingers." The tour has been carefully planned to provide you with the best of Spanish tapas history and a wonderful tasting of flavors and aromas. In addition to the tapas tour, you'll also learn about the history of the restaurants, drinks, and the neighborhood as we walk from one restaurant to the next. It's as if you're walking through a scene from a film from the 16th century to the present day.
